Joe Mousepad Drops Smooth, Left Field Hip Hop Album “Levels”

From coast to coast, Joe Mousepad has earned a prominent place in the electronic music scene as a forward thinking vocalist, producer, and DJ. Engaging the listener on a variety of levels, he manages to simultaneously rap while playing his own original music during sets. His newest album “Levels” is a scrapbook of songs recorded in a variety of ways, yet tied together by the energy and vibe present throughout. The blend of genres is refreshing, original, and indicative of an artist who is unafraid to go beyond the bounds of a specific trend.

Every track acts as a representation of a different facet of Joe. The release opens with “Gone”, a head-nod downtempo song that sets the scene for an imaginative journey about to take place. Dibia$e and B. Lewis make a guest appearance on the wispy “Vibes”, followed by an instrumental bass heavy slapper served in the form of “Salutations”. Flexing his wide sonic palette, Joe lays down poignant vocals on “The Place” and “Know1IsTheGreatest”, then quickly switching gears with the beautiful “Weeping Willow” and “Let Him Know”.
